Heaven!!!

The other day when Lilly got out of the shower I dried her off and was getting her ready. Once she was dressed and mostly ready I went for the hair. I parted it in the back (where it's pretty long compared to the top) and i put it in 2 pigtails!!! I couldn't wipe the grin off my face if I tried. I was ecstatic!

Jeff was in the shower at the time and I had to go interupt. "Jeff, JEFF! I know what Heaven is like!" I said with the biggest smile. Confused, he asked what in the world I was talking about. I ran back to Lilly's room...grabbed her...ran back to the bathroom and held up the back of Lilly for Jeff to see. I don't remember his reaction but if I had to guess, I'd say he smiled and shook his head at his crazy wife.

BUT, in all seriousness...This hairdo makes me laugh and smile without fail. It brightens my day. I'm not sure it has quite the same effect on everyone else though but hey, I'm her mom & I'm excited she's finally getting a little bit of hair!

If I had to guess though...I really do think that heaven will be similar to seeing a naked baby butt running around fresh out of the shower and baby pigtails :)
